Rossella Featured in FAB News
We’re pleased to see Rossella, Muswell Hill featured in FAB News, with a closer look at how Faber brought three generations of the Meola family’s hospitality history into the restaurant’s new interior.
With roots stretching back to the family’s first restaurant in Italy in the 1960s, Rossella has a story built over decades. For the new Muswell Hill restaurant, the aim was to create a space that felt shaped by that history without becoming overtly nostalgic.
The feature explores how references from the 1960s, 70s and 80s are layered throughout the interior, alongside more personal elements including family photographs and an original clock from the home of owner Luca Meola’s grandfather.
It also looks at the creation of Nonna’s Lounge and the six bespoke Halo Light Panels designed by Faber, which help the restaurant shift from a bright daytime setting to a softer, more intimate atmosphere after dark.
Together, these details create an interior that acknowledges Rossella’s past while giving the next generation of the family a space of its own.
