The Halo Light Panel
Light Installation
Designed exclusively for Rossella, in Muswell Hill, London - the Halo Light Panels were created to support one of the restaurant's defining characteristics: its ability to evolve seamlessly from a vibrant daytime café into an intimate evening bar.
Measuring one metre square, each fitting is fabricated from a precision-engineered stainless steel shell, polished to a mirror finish and paired with a diffuser of opal acrylic. A dim-to-warm LED light source provides exceptional control over both light level and colour temperature, allowing the atmosphere to shift naturally throughout the day. Bright and welcoming in the morning, they become warmer, softer and more intimate as evening falls.
Beyond their technical performance, the pendants make a significant contribution to the character of the interior. Their bold geometric form and reflective polished finish introduce a subtle sense of retro glamour, becoming sculptural elements within the space as much as sources of light.
Like all of our bespoke commissions, the fittings were developed specifically for the project. Rather than selecting an off-the-shelf product, they were designed to respond to the operational needs of the restaurant while reinforcing its identity, demonstrating how carefully considered bespoke elements can enhance both the experience and the architecture of a space.
