Rossella Featured in Design Insider

We’re pleased to see Rossella, Muswell Hill featured in Design Insider, exploring how three generations of family history informed the restaurant’s new interior.

The feature looks at our approach to evolving a much-loved neighbourhood restaurant while retaining the character and heritage at the heart of the Rossella story. Rather than recreating a particular period, references from across the family’s history are layered throughout the space, combining inherited objects and family photographs with a contemporary palette of materials, lighting and bespoke details.

Design Insider also explores the creation of Nonna’s Lounge, a new evening-focused space inspired by the family matriarch, alongside our bespoke Halo Light Panels, which help Rossella transition naturally from a vibrant daytime café to a warmer, more intimate restaurant and bar after dark.

The result is a new chapter for Rossella — one that celebrates where the restaurant has come from while creating an identity for its future.
