Salthouse Harbour Hotel Featured in Mix Interiors

We're pleased to share that our hospitality interior design for Salthouse Harbour Hotel in Ipswich has been featured in Mix Interiors. The feature highlights how we approached this coastal hotel project, rejecting obvious waterfront cliches in favour of an art-led interior design concept built around the owners' own art collection.

An Art-Led Approach to Hotel Interior Design

Rather than decorating around the art, we treated the collection as the foundation of the interior architecture itself. The result is a space that functions as both a working hotel bar and restaurant and a gallery in its own right; with specially commissioned artwork placed alongside existing pieces to create a layered, evolving environment.

The project saw the hotel's former lobby reimagined as a new destination bar, and the restaurant reworked into a vibrant British brasserie, featuring the NaCl light installation feature designed specifically for the space.
