The American Bar at The Savoy is one of the world's most celebrated cocktail bars, renowned for its timeless elegance and rich hospitality heritage. Faber was invited to undertake a series of carefully considered interventions, enhancing the guest experience while respecting the character of this iconic London institution.

Working within a listed interior required absolute restraint. Every intervention had to improve operations, increase capacity and refine the guest journey while feeling as though it had always belonged. From a discreet new arrival sequence to bespoke furniture and carefully integrated operational improvements, every detail was designed to preserve the integrity of the original interior.

The project demonstrates that the quietest interventions are sometimes the most powerful. Capacity was increased, operations improved and the guest experience enhanced, all without compromising the atmosphere that has defined the American Bar for generations. The result is an evolution rather than a redesign - thoughtful, understated and entirely in keeping with one of the world's great cocktail bars.
