Creative Roundup: September 2019

Welcome to the Creative Roundup, our monthly digest of cool things from the world of interior design and hospitality...

Moxy Chelsea, New York

At Moxy Chelsea, the hotel’s restaurant, lounge, and rooftop have been conceived as places of discovery, surprise, and rejuvenation. We love Feroce Ristorante - the restaurant is entered at street level and organized as a series of choreographed rooms culminating in an outdoor terrace. Apothecary candy jars and bottles hover on delicate glass and brass shelves creating an unexpected juxtaposition.

Cordless lamps, Carpyen

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, we love these rechargeable induction battery lamps. Made from alabaster, and designed and made in Barcelona, Carpyen are leading the way in cordless designs.

Polperro Winery, Melbourne

The ultimate in food and wine pairing, Polperro is a boutique winery that offers an on-site bistro, luxury accommodation and intimate cellar door showcasing their wine.

The Bistro creates a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, incorporating the seasonal harvests from the Polperro garden. Earthed on a collaborative partnership between winemaker and Chef, the menu is centred on seasonal flavours and share-plates providing food which is fresh, textural and tasty, to best complement the wines.

Studio Proba, New York

Founded by Alex Proba, Studio Proba creates multidisciplinary art, product and furniture designs. Her recent work includes wallpapers and murals which we absolutely love.

White & The Bear, Dubai

Sneha Divias Atelier has swapped stereotypical primary colours for neutral tones inside this Dubai restaurant, designed specifically for children. White & The Bear is a multipurpose space featuring a restaurant, shop and entertainment space and is all decked out with neutral colours and materials that, according to the studio, will foster children's curiosity.
