Rose Chair, The Rosarium
The Challenge
Positioned at the heart of The Glass House within The Rosarium —a Faber-designed restaurant in Waterloo—the large communal table is surrounded by custom-made chairs. As the central feature of the space, these chairs needed to do more than offer comfort; they had to enhance the overall concept and create a strong sense of place for diners.
The Solution
Each chair is fully upholstered and sculpted to deliver both comfort and visual impact. Inspired by the idea of a rose garden, the chairs were finished in six varying shades of red, evoking the rich, layered feel of a variegated flower bed—blending storytelling with standout design.
