The Challenge

How can we create a 3-metre diameter chandelier that makes a bold statement, but without a hefty price tag? As part of the design of The Top Hat restaurant, we were tasked with crafting a show-stopping chandelier of epic proportions—while keeping costs in check.

The Solution

The design features two large steel hoops, suspended from the ceiling at varying heights, with brass chains elegantly connecting the two. By harnessing the natural curve of the chain, we were able to create a fluid, graceful form for the chandelier.

The construction method is simple yet effective, resulting in a striking, impactful design that delivers on both visual drama and cost-efficiency.
